New Windsor celebrates 2nd anniversary with health fair

New Windsor Pharmacy celebrated their second anniversary on Friday, October 12, with a health fair on the lawns of the pharmacy, beside the St Ann’s Bay Parish Library,in St Ann’s Bay, St Ann

The event fulfilled its goal to foster awareness of health-related issues and to inform the St Ann’s Bay community about the services that are available for their benefit.

The fair was open to all members of the public, as well as the staff of New Windsor Pharmacy.

A total of eleven organizations were present at the wellness festival. Some offered free information on health and skin care while others administered free blood pressure, blood sugar, HIV test and cholesterol screening.

Representatives from Zimmer and Co conducted individual massage sessions.

Several major companies had booths set up to offer services and health related products. These included CARIMED, WISYNCO, Courts, and Zimmer & Co. Representatives from different organizations distributed goody bags to some patrons who gave correct answers to questions.

Refreshments were provided.

Owners Nicholas Ellis and Natalie Murray- Ellis said that they were happy in giving back to the community of St Ann’s Bay because they had the people’s full support of their business for the past two years.
