MAN KILLED AT POPULAR SALEM ENTERTAINMENT SPOT
RUNAWAY BAY, St Ann; July 11, 2025
A man was shot dead, execution style, at a popular entertainment spot, near Salem Runaway Bay, St Ann, before dawn on Thursday, July 10.
He has not been identified, but police say the man killed was of dark complexion, slim build, about six feet two inches (6’2”) tall, and appeared to be in his late thirties.
Reports are that the man was among patrons at a nightclub, in the area called Truck Stop, Salem/ Runway Bay, at a game machine.
A man armed with a handgun walked up to him and fired one shot, hitting him in the head, and he fell to the ground. The gunman then escaped on foot.
One expended bullet and one 9mm spent casing and blood sample were retrieved from the scene by police.
No clear motive has been established for this killing.
