MAN SHOT AND KILLED, COPS ATTACKED IN SEPARATE INCIDENT
A murder and a shooting incident in Cave Valley in St Ann, in less than 24 hours, are being investigated by police.
Dead is Michael Green of Cave Valley.
Reports are that on Friday night, about 10:45, Green also called Andrew and another man were carrying out repairs on a motorcycle when they were attacked by a gunman. Green was shot at least twice. He was pronounced dead at hospital.
In the earlier incident, also in Cave Valley, reports are that police were called to the area following a domestic dispute. Police reports are that they were attacked by a man wielding a machete. One of the officers fired hitting the man in his leg.
He was taken to hospital.
The officers were unharmed. Investigations continue.
