MORE THAN 50 PROJECTS STARTED
Member of Parliament for Western St Mary, Robert Montague is hailing Labour Day 2023 in the constituency a great success.
He said there were more than 50 projects in the constituency though he was only able to visit and participate in 20.
The major project was repairing the walkway of 103-year-old Isolyn “Miss Little” Vassell’ in Oracabessa .
The walkway project was sponsored by the Ian Fleming International Airport. According to Mr Montague, most of the community projects had business sponsors.
He said: “This year was the best Labour Day ever, in Western St Mary, as we had more people coming out and more companies sponsoring projects.”
He said though there was rain during the day that delayed some projects they all will be completed.
