Miss St Mary Festival Queen Crowned

Twenty-three-year old, Daneille Clarke (centre) walked away with the title and crown of the St. Mary Festival Queen 2014 on Saturday, May 3 at the Anglican Church Hall in Port Maria, St Mary. As one of the crowd favorites, Clarke won sectional prizes for Most Culturally-Aware, Best Performance and Community Involvement. She will now represent St. Mary in the Miss Jamaica Festival Queen National Coronation later this year. Seven young ladies competed for the title under the theme, “Jamaican Women…Shaping our Culture and our Nation” with Trishana Richardson (3rd left) copping second place and Yulice Williams (3rd right) placing third. A Queen Is Crowned: The top three are flanked by other contestants in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) Miss St. Mary Festival Queen Contest.
