Natassia Brown won the 2014 edition of the Mini Miss New Vision Early Childhood Institution on Friday evening at the school, Mount Edgecombe, Runaway Bay, St Ann. Runners up were, Keveena Lee, who placed second and Kerrie-Ann Pringle, who placed third. Among the sectional prize winners were: Alexia Bloise, ‘Best Dressed’, Jordette Hewitt, ‘Best Talent’ and overall winner Natassia Brown took the ‘Best Smile’ prize. Emcee was Francine Robinson. The competition is just one of the events used by the school to create all around development among the students. New Vision, located at Mt Edgecombe is indeed a vision from God. The school was founded in 2008. Principal and founder Claudette Brown, says the years 2008 to 2014 have been blessed ones. She gives commendation to the wonderful staff, parents and community persons. Pansy Shirley. “You have been my strength and backbone. We will continue to work together in making our children the best in society. Thanks a million for your support while we build and expand the education system in Jamaica,” the principal said. New Vision offers computer classes, Spanish classes, drama classes along with literacy and numeracy for children from age two up. Every child can learn and must learn.
