The man accused of murdering a St Ann woman and her son, Tuesday, was chopped to death this morning.
Dead is 32-year-old Orville Scarlett, otherwise called “Bull” of Watt Town, St Ann.
Scarlett was pulled from underneath a house and chopped to death this morning by residents of Watt Town.
On Tuesday police had named Scarlett and asked him to turn himself in to them in connection with the murder of 31-year-old Allisha Francis, also called Alicia and her 10-year-old son Jamani Jackson of Linton Park, St Ann.
Reports are that Francis who had ended a relationship with Scarlett was attacked as she and her three children entered her yard about 9:30 Monday evening. Francis and Jamani were killed, another son, twelve years old, was chopped and is hospitalized and a six-year-old daughter escaped unhurt.
Since the murders people armed with machetes and sticks have been searching for Scarlett. This morning they found him under the house of another resident in Watt Town. He was hacked to death.
He was pronounced dead at hospital.
