A 36-year-old labourer was stabbed to death in Clay Ground, Bamboo in St Ann early Saturday morning, May 27.
Dead is Robert Gentles.
Initial reports from the Constabulary Communications Unit are that at about 3:15 a.m., Gentles was involved in an argument with another man.
Both men later armed themselves with weapons as Gentles had a machete and the other man had a knife. Gentles was stabbed and pronounced dead at hospital.
Police have a man in custody for the murder.
