MAN STABBED DEAD ALLEGEDLY BY GIRLFRIEND’S EX

POLICE BELIEVE THEY KNOW THE KILLER

Police are looking for a man who they believe stabbed his ex-lover’s boyfriend to death in a jealous rage.

Dead is 38-year-old Joseph Baker, a farmer of Cowley, St. Ann.

Reports to the North Coast Times are that Baker and his girlfriend were walking along the roadway in Cowley, near Claremont, about 8 o’clock Sunday night, October 6.

According to reports, a man who is reportedly a former lover of the woman saw the two and turned back and attacked Baker, stabbing him in the chest and upper body. The man then fled.

Police transported Baker to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

As the investigation continues, detectives are urging the suspect to turn himself in at the nearest police station immediately.
