A 55-year-old man was shot dead in the Mansfield Heights area of Ocho Rios in St Ann on Wednesday night, August 17.
Dead is Michael Brown, a caretaker of Mansfield Heights in the parish.
Police reports are that at about 9 p.m., residents reportedly heard explosion and alerted them.
On their arrival, Brown was seen lying on the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigations are ongoing.
