58-YEAR-OLD ACCUSED 41-Y-O OF INFIDELITY BEFORE MACHETE ATTACK
A man who in a jealous rage chopped his common-law wife and her two children killed himself in St Ann, Friday evening, December 6, 2024.
Dead is 58-year-old Winston Dave Pryce, a truck driver of Maida near Alexandria, St Ann.
Reports to the North Coast Times are that Pryce and his 41-year-old common-law wife, Kerry-Ann Finnegan and her children were at their home Friday evening, about 6:30. An argument developed between Pryce and his spouse. He accused her of infidelity.
This argument resulted in a fight between them and during the fight Mr Pryce brought a machete into play and used it to chop Miss Finnegan in the back of her head and also on the right hand.

The woman’s two daughters, one a 12-year-old student and the other a 20-year-old clerical assistant intervened and were both chopped.
It is understood that after the incident Mr Pryce drank a weed killer. They were assisted by area resident to the nearby Alexandria community hospital where they were treated and then transferred to the St Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital.
Pryce was pronounced dead and Ms Finnegan and her two daughters were admitted in serious but stable condition.
