WAS PART OF MOTOR CYCLE GROUP NEAR ANNOTTO BAY

St Mary police are investigating an early morning fatal motorcycle crash that claimed the life of a 24-year-old man.
Dead is Ronaldo Blackwood, otherwise called “Chico”, a labourer of Highgate District, Above Rocks, St. Catherine.
Police reports are that about 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2025, Blackwood was returning from a party in Annotto Bay, St. Mary. He was riding a black Jamco motorcycle. He was part of a group of riders en route to Above Rocks when his companions noticed he was no longer among them. They initiated a search but were unable to locate him and notified his family upon arriving at their destination.
A search was conducted by relatives, including Blackwood’s mother. During that search, Blackwood’s body and the motorcycle were discovered in a ditch along the Bottom Bay main road. He was unresponsive and was taken to the Annotto Bay Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Annotto Bay Police are continuing investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
