VOLUNTEERS MAKE DIFFERENCE ON CLEAN-UP DAY
Volunteers were very active on the beaches and coastline in Portland on Saturday, September 21, International Coastal Cleanup Day.
They collected and had carted away tons of garbage, much of it plastic from different beaches across the parish. Much of the garbage was washed down by rivers or simply dumped on the beach.
