LIME outlines improved telecoms to businesses in west

Norman Naar, head of LIME Business reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the development of the business infrastructure in Western Jamaica at Thursday’s hosting of the CISCO United Communications and Wireless Technology Showcase held at the Hilton Rose Hall Hotel on September 11. Speaking at the forum, Naar said the company will be expanding its focus in the west as it strengthens its ability to provide the the best connectivity and support for western-based businesses. “We have plans to sustain and inject fresh investments so that we continue to deliver a first-class experience for our customers. We are very excited about the new and enhanced network services that we will be able to deliver while we work with trusted partners like CISCO to deliver on the technology side.” Mr. Naar furthered.

He also declared LIME’s intention to stay ahead with the provisioning of new and enhanced services including network optimization, co-location, disaster recovery, data back-up and other managed services to medium and large enterprise customers. During the event attended by IT and other business professionals from Western Jamaica, Jaivier Carrίon , CISCO Systems Engineer shared on the implementation of CISCO’s powerful Meraki wireless solutions and WebEx video-conferencing products to boost. Cedric Gooden, IT Manager at Jewels Resort also delivered a powerful video testimonial which showcased the benefits of the LIME-powered CISCO Meraki solution which allows the hotel group to deliver enhanced Wi-Fi services to guests across their three properties. Just over a week ago, LIME regional CEO, Martin Roos accompanied by a high-level team including, Garry Sinclair, LIME Jamaica CEO visited the second city on a working tour.
