It was a sombre mood on Saturday, February 07, 2015 at the Faith Temple Assembly of God, Princess Street, Montego Bay for the thanksgiving service for the late Karen Ann Jenoure-Wilmot, well known businesswoman.Several tributes were done Mount Alvernia High School, Irwin High School, Karen’s Jewels & Company. The first lesson was read by Althea Walters and second lesson by Venella Edwards-Pasmore, officiating ministers were Reverends Conrad Pitkins and Everton Lawrence.The 48-year-old passed away on January 13, 2015 in Miami, Florida Mrs Wilmot was eulogized as a philanthropist with a passion for children, an excellent cook and a phenomenal woman who shared a close bond with her family.Many recalled MrsJenoure-Wilmot as a true friend, always willing to help and as a very caring woman who always ensured everyonewith whom she came in contact felt appreciated.She was laid to rest at Hill View Memorial Gardens, with marching band and a truck bearing a band that led the funeral procession to the garden.She left to mourn husband Derrick “Capoo” Wilmot, seven children; Christine, Gabrielle, Justin, Brandon,Breanna,Niia and Kiana; mother Carolyn Jenoure also called “Betty” and “Nan”; children, grandchildren other relatives and friends.
