PRINCIPAL IN LOCK-UP FACING BUGGERY CHARGE
The young professional affiliate of the JLP, Generation 2000 (G2K ), is calling for Errol Bascoe to resign as principal of Tacky High School, St Mary.
In a release, G2K said Bascoe should resign amidst “damning allegations.”

Bascoe resigned as PNP Constituency caretaker for Western St Mary, on Friday following allegations that turned out to be sexual. He was charged Sunday with buggery, on the complaint of a 23-year-old man who reported to police in St Mary that Mr Basoce had sex with him in February.

G2K said the resignation as PNP caretaker had raised “serious concerns about his ability to lead an educational institution,.”
G2K said: “It is deeply troubling that Mr Bascoe while prioritizing the reputation of the PNP has failed to extend the same level of concern for the reputation and well-being of Tacky High School, the education institution he serves as Principal.”
Shayne Kerr, President of G2K said: “It is unacceptable for Mr Bascoe to prioritize the reputation of the PNP over [that of] the noble institution of Tacky High School.”
Mr Bascoe remains in custody after being charged Sunday when he turned himself in to police.
