A woman from St Ann’s Bay is to appear in court on wounding charges after she reportedly stabbed a male co-worker in the neck, claiming he was involved with their boss.
Charged is 43-year-old Shelly Ann Francis, a sanitation worker of Old Jail Lane, St. Ann’s Bay, St. Ann.
Reports from the St. Ann’s Bay Police are that at about 11:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 15, Francis allegedly stabbed her co-worker in the neck with a knife after she accused him of being involved with their boss.
The co-worker was assisted to the hospital, where he was treated and admitted in stable condition.
Francis was arrested and subsequently charged on Friday, March 21.
Her court date is being arranged.
