POSTERS, BANNERS AND CALLS… ‘WE WANT PEACE’
ST ANN’S BAY, St Ann; March 5, 2026
Students, teachers, and parents of St Ann’s Bay Infant School marched for peace on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
They gathered at the NCB branch in the St Ann parish capital, with banners and placards, sang and recited sentiments of peace as they waved the Jamaican flag.

There are just under 180 students at the school whose principal is Debbie Parsons Morris.
The students, accompanied by some parents and teachers, marched from the bank’s parking lot to the Anglican Church, shouting “We want peace”.

Some onlookers expressed their amazement and delight at the little children taking up the peace message.
Students waved flags with slogans such as “We want peace”, “I am a peacemaker,” and “Rebuild Jamaica Peace by Piece” – the theme for Peace Day 2026.
