The National Housing Trust, St Ann branch, located in Ocho Rios held their Go Green Expo on Friday, September 12, on the grounds of the NHT. Branch manager, Demeon McNally gave the overview of the day’s activities “The National Housing Trust is a part of the initiative, headed by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Energy, for energy conservation throughout all the government agencies and departments.” The expo was aimed at helping the public and giving tips on how to save energy and recycle waste. Several exhibitors were invited to showcase their products, services and useful ideas on how the public can conserve energy. Exhibitors included, representative from the Forestry Department, Westwood High School, Solar Company, Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA) and Jamaica Public Service (JPS).
