Hollywood’s Hottest DJ to Streak it Blue in Ocho Rios Saturday

DJ to the Hollywood stars Jim Saviano, more popularly known as DJ Savi, has been confirmed for the Sandals Foundation’s Streak It Blue after-party on May 24, at the exclusive Ochi Beach Club, at Sandals Grande Riviera. Described by People Magazine as “LA’s hottest DJ”, DJ Savi is a household name in Los Angeles entertainment and has become synonymous with the city’s night life. Savi has headlined some of the biggest events in Hollywood including the 2012 US Weekly AMA party, the 2011 MTV VMA After-Party, the premiere party for Seth McFarlane’s ‘TED’ and the ‘Summer of Sony’ event. Savi is also the go-to DJ for movie release and wrap parties, celebrity birthdays, album releases and Maxim, Sundance, & Coachella events. He has also had the honour of playing at Stevie Wonder’s birthday party and in the past year alone he’s done over 250 shows. Set for Ocho Rios on May 24, Streak It Blue promises two distinct experiences; an exciting 5K Fun Run and the sizzling after-party at Sandals Grande Riviera’s exclusive Ochi Beach Club. Proceeds from the event will go towards the SickKids-Caribbean Initiative which benefits children with pediatric cancers and blood disorders across the region.

Excited about coming to Jamaica for such an event, Savi said, “I am really looking forward to coming to Jamaica and working with a great charity that gives back to children.  I can’t wait to rock Jamaica!” Savi will join Jamaica’s own DJ Bambino at the all-inclusive after-party which will run from 10 AM to 5 Pm and feature premium liquor and decadent food. Tickets are available at Appliance Traders Limited locations in Kingston, Ocho Rios and Montego Bay. Pre-sold tickets are $3250 each and at the gate patrons will pay $3750 each. Streak it Blue is sponsored by the Sandals Foundation, the Jamaica Observer, Sagicor, YellowBird Foundation, Rainforest Seafoods, WATA, Skyy Vodka and IRIE FM.
