Hennessy Ready For Carnival

Expected to be first big one since 2019

 

Leading cognac brand in the region, Hennessy Jamaica, says it is ready for Carnival 2023 and will make its presence felt.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the last ‘major’ carnival was held in 2019 and although carnival was held in 2022 after the worst of the pandemic, the numbers were nothing compared to pre-pandemic levels.

Regional marketing manager at J. Wray & Nephew Ltd., distributors of Hennessy, Kamal Powell, said that Hennessy has been on-boarded as a premium spirit brand for carnival and promises a stellar showing.  He said: “Carnival is a major part of Caribbean culture and Hennessy is a brand known for executing at some of the biggest events and festivals around the world.”

Hennessy will have a presence in two of Jamaica’s most popular bands this year. They will have two trucks on the road, one in Xodus and one in Yard Mas. Leading with high energy and good vibes they will have mini bands within the larger bands led by brand influencers.

They will also participate within the lunch stop areas.
