Grove Join Titchfield As Winners, Horace Clarke ready for Tacky
Happy Grove High made their mark in the sand in Zone N Wednesday brushing aside Port Antonio High 5-0 in their match at Carder Park, in the Portland capital, Wednesday, Sept. 13.
In the four-team Zone, Titchfield won the first match against Fair Prospect 2-0 Tuesday, December 12.
For Happy Grove Happy Shevon Miller got a hat trick, scoring in the 34th, 46th and 50th minutes. The other goals were scored by Bonny Chisholm, 43rd, and Seam Williams by way of a penalty in minute 45

IN NEIGHBOURING ST MARY, in Zone I one of the biggest upsets of the season was a 3-nil win by Horace Clarke High over one of the zone favourites St Mary Technical. Adriano Cross opened the scoring in the first half for Horace Clarke. Coach for the Islington-based Horace Clarke High, Neville Reid says he was not surprised by the victory. He says he is looking ahead to the match Friday against another big-name team in the Zone, Tacky. That match is going to be tough,” Reid said.
He said his midfield and the skills of his captain Mark Anderson will be heavily relied on.
