HORACE CLARKE, WYCLIFFE MARTIN LOSE AGAIN AND ST MARY TECH GET A WIN

Happy Grove High kept their perfect win record when they beat Paul Bogle High of St Tomas 3-1 Wednesday, September 25, 2024. In the Zone 11 top-of-the-table clash, at Hector’s River, East Portland, Happy Grove showed their dominance and put away the first goal from a corner which sent them ahead in the 23rd minute. Bonny Chisolm got a brace, slotting home in the 42nd and 59th minutes.
Ricardo Tyrell got the consolation for Paul Bogle in the 52nd minute.

- Titchfield of Portland continued their impressive run, in Zone ‘M’ when they beat Horace Clarke of St Mary 3-0 at Islington.
Scorers for Titchfield were Taffano Bryan 8th, Brian Williams 81st and Riquelme Brown 90+ minutes.
Titchfield with their win stayed second with 13 points. That’s from four wins and a draw, behind leaders Port Antonio High with a perfect 15 points from their five matches.
Horace Clarke who showed great courage and skill last season have lost all four matches and are without a point.
St Mary Tech beat Wycliffe Martin 2-1 in a game of academic interest only as neither of those two sides will go ahead after Saturday’s matches that will decide the top two from Zone ‘M’ and one other to move on.
