GUN SEIZED, MAN IN CUSTODY
A St Ann man is in custody after police seized a gun and ammunition in Steer Town, in the parish.
Reports are that about 11:15 p.m., on Saturday, November 25, lawmen were in the Gulf area of Steer Town when they searched a Toyota Probox motorcar.
During the search of the vehicle, a Glock pistol with a magazine containing three 9mm rounds of ammunition was seen in a bag hidden under the driver’s seat. One man was arrested in relation with the seizure, however, his identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
The seizure was in the same area where 60-year-old bus driver Paul Campbell was shot and killed a week earlier
