GUN BURIED IN CEMETERY IN ST MARY

EARLY MORNING RAID YIELDS SHUTGUN A SHALLOW GRAVE

PORT MARIA, St Mary; Nov. 18, 2025

In the pre-dawn hours of Tuesday, November 18, 2025, when most people would think twice about going to the cemetery,  the St Mary police were digging up a shotgun from a grave in Robins Bay.

According to the St Mary police, at about 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, a team from the St. Mary Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) conducted an intelligence-led operation in the community of Robin’s Bay, St. Mary.

During the operation, a targeted search was conducted at a cemetery, where members of the team discovered a black Arnsan Silah A.S. shotgun concealed in a shallow grave.

No one was arrested in connection with the find.

The St. Mary Police are urging anyone with information that can assist in this investigation, or about illegal guns, ammunition, or criminal activities, to contact the Port Maria Police Station at 876-994-2223 or Crime Stop at 311.
