The grandson of a man found dead in Gayle, St Mary has been charged with murder.
Dead is Lascelles Hyatt, of Gayle.
Police have arrested and charged Lenoy Pyke, 22-year-old vendor, of Salisbury District, Gayle, for the murder of his grandfather. Pyke was charged Saturday and is expected in court this week.
Mr Hyatt’s body was found, Sunday August 24, in a shallow grave in the Retirement community near Gayle. Mr Hyatt had been missing for some five weeks, before the body was found.
The Times reported the discovery of the body, two weeks ago and quoted police as stating that several people had been questioned in relation to the badly decomposed body.
