She is survived by seven children, including Howard Isaacs, Principal of The Moneague College.
Many of Mr Isaacs’ colleagues, past and present students, and faculty of the college were there to share in the Thanksgiving and support the family. Among them were several former Presidents of the Jamaica Teachers’ Association (JTA) of which Mr Isaacs is also a former President.
Mrs Isaacs, fondly called Aunt Gloria or Aunt Girlie, was hailed as a woman of great principle who brought up her children well and in the fear of God. She leaves a legacy of love and kindness, the congregation was told.
