School To Continue With Reduced Numbers
Fire destroyed a major block of the St Ann’s Bay Infant School, Tuesday morning, June 20.
Four classrooms on the Brain Builder block were destroyed, as were children’s bathrooms and a store room. The kitchen was damaged by water in the firefighting process,

The fire is believed to have started sometime in the wee hours of the morning. The specifics were not immediately available as no senior officer was available when the North Coast Times contacted the St Ann Fire station.
Although the classrooms were destroyed, the school is making plans to continue classes and test activities this week, though with fewer students each day than usual.
Classes were not held at the institution today.
Principal of the school Debbie Parsons Morris told the North Coast Times that three-year-olds, four-year-olds, and five-year-olds are now doing tests and efforts will be made to continue the individual test activities this week. How that turns out will determine what happens for the few remaining days of the term.
