NO MOTIVE IN SHOOTING OF 4 IN BAR
Police in St Mary are still trying to establish motive for the murder of two men shot to death in Dover in the parish Friday night, June 7.
Dead are: 40-year-old Damion Melvin of Windsor Castle, Portland and 34-year-old Leroy Morand of Dover district in St. Mary.
Reports from the Annotto Bay Police are that about 7:10 p.m., Melvin, Morand and two other men were outside a bar in Dover district when they were approached by two gunmen.
The armed men opened fire, injuring all four men before fleeing the scene in a motorcar. The police were alerted. They found four men with gunshot wounds.
The injured men were taken to hospital where Melvin and Morand were pronounced dead, one man was admitted for treatment, while the fourth man received treatment and was later released.
