Men Lured To Lonely Area
Two men were shot and killed in a deserted area near to Priory in St Ann, Saturday, July 15.
Dead are: · 24-year-old Shamrick Edwards otherwise called ‘Papi’ a carpenter of Stony Hill district in St. Ann and · 33-year-old Garfield Thomas otherwise called ‘Brawling’ a mason of Sea Crest, Priory.
The double murder brings to more than 42 the number of people killed so far this year in St Ann.
Reports are sketchy but North Coast Times sources say the men were lured to an unfinished building in a lonely area of Sea Crest, by someone known to both of them, early Saturday.
It’s not clear when the men were shot and killed.
Police say relatives of one of the men who found the bodies of Edwards and Thomas alerted them, about 2 p.m.. The men were seen lying in front of an unfinished building with gunshot wounds.
