Last week we carried the first part of an article on makeup , including tips on the preparation before application and the importance of colour. This is the second part by Charlene Dehaney
shadows are worn either day or night. Shimmery shadows can be worn wet or dry. They are worn mostly wet when you want to give the shadow an extra pop.
Also with makeup, there is day and evening/night makeup. During the day your makeup should be lighter and more natural whereas in the night you can go a bit heavier on the face and darker on the eyes. After eye shadow is applied you can finish off the look with mascara or even some fake lashes. BLUSHES are used to add a flush of color to the cheek for a more youthful appearance. After the foundation and powder is applied. Bronzer can be applied to give you a nice glow and highlight.
LIPSTICK /LIPGLOSS / LIPBALMS
Lipsticks come in a variety of types and shades. Bright colour lipsticks are trending. Matte lipsticks are growing increasingly popular as you don’t have to touch up and most of them are 12-hour wear. LIPBALMS are mainly used as moisturizers to keep the lips from drying out. It’s also a suitable alternative for persons who shy away from lipsticks.
When you’re through applying your makeup a good fix plus or setting spray should be used to keep everything in place and again adding to the longevity of the makeup applied.
