CURFEW IN SECTIONS OF ST. MARY

SECURITY MEASURE RUNS WEDNESDAY TO FRIDAY IN ROBINS BAY, FREE HILL, GEDDES TOWN & NUTFIELD

Parts of St Mary are under a curfew, at least until Friday evening, January 30, at 6 p.m.

The areas under curfew include sections of Free Hill, Oxford, Geddes Town, Robins Bay and Nutfield communities of the St. Mary Policing Division.

The curfew was imposed on Wednesday evening, January 28, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30.

The boundaries of Free Hill, Oxford, and Geddes Town curfew are as follows:

West: From Kampla Drive in the Tyall Housing Scheme, along an imaginary line to the intersection of the Free Hill and Oxford roadways.

South: From the Free Hill and Oxford roadway intersection, along an imaginary line to the intersection of Geddes Town and Sand Hill.

East: From the Geddes Town and Sand Hill intersection, along an imaginary line to the Cross Road in Top Oxford.

North: From the Cross Road in Top Oxford, along an imaginary line back to the fording at Kampla Drive in the Tyall Housing Scheme.

The boundaries of ROBINS BAY AND NUTFIELD curfew are as follows:

East: Starting at a section of Strawberry Field, the boundary runs east along an imaginary line to Robins Bay Square.

South: From Robins Bay Square, the boundary extends south to a heavily vegetated area at the upper section of Robins Bay.

West: From a heavily vegetated area at the upper section of Robins Bay, the boundary runs west along an imaginary line to a vegetated area of Nutfield.

North: From a vegetated area of Nutfield, the boundary continues north along an imaginary line back to a section of Strawberry Field.

During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
