Platinum selling country music stars Chris Young, Jerrod Niemann and Tyler Farr rocked the house at Sandals Ochi Beach Resort during “Boots on The Beach” over the long (Labour Day, Ja; Memorial Day, US) weekend.Young was in scintillating form, belting out a number of his top hits to whip the crowd into a frenzy, while Niemann and Farr were at the peak of their game, having the crowd eating out of their hands.
The event was also used as a salute to U.S. service members during Memorial Day, also celebrated May 25, to benefit the Boot Campaign. Promoting patriotism for America and the military community, the Boot Campaign aims to raise awareness of the unique challenges service members and their families face during and post-service and provide necessary assistance.
The music festival was hosted by Country Music Television’s Hot 20 Countdown personality Katie Cook and featured Boot Campaign ambassador and widow of American Sniper Chris Kyle, Taya Kyle.
Weekend highlights also included acoustic jam sessions with upcoming artistes Cam, Logan Mize and Josh Dorr; a silent auction to benefit the Boot Campaign and a pool party with American Idol finalist, Casey James, where a Guinness World Record attempt was made of the most people doing pushups at one time, to bring awareness to Boot Campaign’s Pushups for Charity international fundraising initiative.Boots on the Beach Vacation was produced in association with Sony Music Nashville, Alliance Connection Productions and Funjet Vacations.
