Two men, allegedly found in Ocho Rios with 20 pounds of ganja in a car in which they were travelling were granted bail in the St Ann’s Bay court Thursday, January 21, 2015.They are 25-year-old Blake Magnus, trip advisor of South Carolina, USA and 25-year-old Trevor Donegan, entrepreneur of Old Hope Road, Kingston 6. They are charged with possession of ganja and dealing in ganja.Both men pleaded not guilty to the charges.Allegations against the men are that on Tuesday, January 19 police stopped and searched a vehcile in which the men were travelling, just outside Ocho Rios.Police said they found two suitcases loaded with 20 pounds of ganja. Both men were arrested and charged by officers attached to the Proactive Investigative Unit (PIU).In court on Thursday, the lawyer for the men had a fascinating narrative, including that the men didn’t know what was in the packages.
