The St. Mary police are seeking the public’s assistance in finding a man wanted for grievous sexual assault, shooting with intent and illegal possession of firearm.
He is Ian Blake, a mechanic, from Highgate in the parish. He is also called Signy and Mechanic.
The police are appealing to Blake to turn himself over to them. They say that Blake is armed and dangerous and anyone knowing his whereabouts should contact the nearest police station.
Blake is wanted for grievous sexual assault after a report was made that he fondled a ten-year-old child.
In addition, Blake is wanted for shooting with intent arising from an incident Sunday, April 17 when he confronted police who tried to apprehend him.
He escaped.
