A police Sergeant in St. Mary intervened in a knife fight between two men in Highgate, St. Mary on Christmas Day, Sunday, December, 25 possibly saving one man’s life. The other man has been charged for wounding with intent.
Charged is Phillip Williams, 24, construction worker of Belfield in St. Mary.
Reports are that at about 2:40 a.m., a Police Sergeant was leading a foot patrol team through Highgate when he saw Williams and another man fighting with a knife.
The policeman intervened, ending the brawl, and facilitated the transportation of the injured man to a medical facility. Phillip on the other hand was detained and subsequently charged on, Wednesday, January 4.
