BROTHER WHO STABBED MAN SEVERAL TIMES KILLED
There is controversy over how a man was fatally shot by police in Ocho Rios Monday afternoon, May 1, 2023.
The man has not yet been identified.
Reports are that the man went to the Eight Rivers Plaza in the resort town and started repeatedly stabbing another man. The attacker had been called to the plaza by his brother who reported he had been involved in a confrontation and was being beaten by a man.
Police who rushed to the scene reportedly accosted the attacker who continued to stab the man. He was shot.
It is reported that the attacker was on the ground for some time before the police, in an unmarked vehicle, took him away.
The man who called his brother was nowhere to be seen.
The matter has been reported to INDECOM
