The Kiwanis Club of the Garden Parish went into the community of Pineapple, near the Pineapple Craft market, Ocho Rios and gave away boxes of clothing, toys, toiletries and school supplies to children and adults. Eva Myers(left), president of the Club gave a very brief talk to community people gathered. She told them the gifts had come from a very kind person Sharon Van Strolley, through the Kiwanis and joined with them in saying thanks to God for it. She also said some brief words about what Kiwanis is. With Ms Myers on the trip were: Kiwanians Fiona James (right), Jennifer Lawrence(at back) and Constable Leteacher Ennis-McKenzie (second left). Marjorie Robison received the goods for distribution by the club. In photo at right children go through their gifts.
