SHOT THREE TIMES ALLEGEDLY OVER $500 GATE CHARGE
A businesswoman remained in hospital Sunday night battling for her life after she was attacked and shot at an exotic club on Saturday night, April 6, in St Ann.
According to information reaching the North Coast Times, the woman was shot inside a club she operated, Kitty Kat Club and Bar, Salem Runaway Bay about 8:30 Saturday night, April 6. She has been identified as Ingrid Campbell also called Cola.
A police report said the woman was at the door of the club when a man entered without paying. Police report said she called out to him and told him that he had to pay J$500 to enter the club for the session that was taking place. The man went to the complainant and started a conversation with her.
Further reports are that the man then pulled a firearm from his waist and fired three shots, hitting the complainant in her upper body.
She fell to the floor on her back, with arms outstretched. People fled the club at the popular Truck Stop
Some persons insisted Ms Campbell was dead but others lifted her from the floor. Members of the St Ann Police Highway Patrol took her to St Ann’s Bay Hospital where she was admitted.
