Two young men from St Ann’s Bay are expected to appear in court this morning charged with the murder of 14-year-old Raven Wilson.
Sources tell the North Coast Times that at least two young men were charged Thursday and will appear in the St Ann’s Bay Court today, Friday November 2.
There is no official report on the case. Police have been trying to keep the investigations and arrests out of the media spotlight as they fear there could be violence.
The police yesterday said they had sent a file to the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for a determination on how to proceed. However, information to the Times is that the police charged at least two youths with whom Raven spent some time Friday, October 19. She had left for school on that day but did not turn up there, the North Coast Times newspaper reported last issue.
The Ocho Rios High School student was reported missing that same afternoon and found dead Sunday morning , October 21, sending shock waves across the nation.
