EX ACCUSED OF STABBING SCHOOLGIRL’S BOYFRIEND WHO WAS WALKING WITH HER

A 26-year-old man accused of killing the lover of his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend has been charged with murder.
He is Chanardo Wilmot, a maintenance worker of Mile End, Ocho Rios, St. Ann.
Wilmot is charged with the murder of  34-year-old Chadroy Nash, tiler St. D’Acre, Alexandria, St. Ann, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
The North Coast Times had reported that Nash had gone to the home of his girlfriend, a 16-year-old schoolgirl, in Inverness. The two were walking to a shop when they were confronted by Wilmot in the vicinity of the Inverness School. Nash was pronounced dead at the Alexandria Community Hospital.

Wilmot eluded area residents who chased him after the girl made an alarm. In his escape, Wilmot reportedly left behind a knapsack with personal effects, including his ID.

Accompanied by an attorney, Wilmot turned himself in to the Ocho Rios police on Thursday, September 25, 2025. He was charged over the weekend after a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.
