ST MARY KNIFE/PIPE ATTACKER FACES MULTIPLE CHARGES
PORT MARIA, St Mary – June 9, 2024
The man accused of killing a three-year-old boy and seriously injuring five other people in an unprovoked attack in St Mary has been charged.
The deceased has been identified as Asha Campbell of Frontier district, Port Maria, also in the parish.

Charged is 33-year-old labourer Devon Williams Pagee district in the parish and Main Street, West Spring Field, Massachusetts, USA.
Williams has been charged with murder, wounding with Intent (three counts), and unlawful wounding (two counts)
Reports from the Port Maria Police are that between 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 29, Williams armed with a knife and a piece of iron pipe inflicted several wounds to Asha and five other persons.
The attacks took place on Tucker Circle, Paggee, in Port Maria.
The injured people were assisted to the hospital where Asha was pronounced dead and the others were treated. Two were admitted.
Williams who was earlier accosted by residents and taken to the hospital was handed over to the police. He was charged on Thursday, June 6 after he was pointed out on an identification parade.
Williams is scheduled to appear in the Port Maria Parish Court on Thursday, June 13.
