Police have charged a man with murder in the death of 21-year-old loan clerk, Kyria Nelson, of Pimento Walk.
Charged with murder is 58-year-old Norman Thompson, vendor of James Ocho Rios, St Ann. The two had a relationship that Nelson tried to end. Matters came to a head last week Wednesday morning, June 29 at her place of work in Brown’s Plaza in the centre of Ocho Rios where she was murdered.
Police charged Thompson at the weekend. He surrendered without resistance minutes after he allegedly repeatedly stabbed Nelson and slashed her throat.
