CELEBRATING HEAD OF ST MARY POLICE

SUPT BOBBETTE MORGAN SIMPSON IS RETIRING

PORT MARIA, St Mary; Oct. 9, 2024

It was supposed to be an evening where Superintendent Bobbette Morgan Simpson was to recognize her hard-working staff and stakeholders.

Instead, at the JCF’s St. Mary Recognition and Awards Ceremony, the Commanding Officer for St Mary found she was being celebrated along with other members of the Force.

Superintendent Morgan Simpson will be retiring this month. October 10, 2024, marks 35 years, eight months and 23 days since she has been serving the Jamaica Constabulary Force. And, it’s her birthday too, the North Coast Times can report..

She will be one of the honourees at the St Mary Municipal Corporation’s Civic Ceremony for Heroes Week.

There were many VIP’s attending the awards ceremony on  September 21 at the Casa Maria Hotel, Port Maria, to honour members of the Force. They included MPs Dr Morais Guy and Robert Montague, Mayor of Portmaria Fitzroy Wilson, as well as president of the St Mary Chamber of Commerce Fredrick Young. Among senior police officers were Assistant Commissioner Calvin Allen and SSP Vernon Ellis.

Mrs Morgan Simpson started her St Mary leg of service December 11, 2017. Supt Morgan Simpson thanked the police officers for their service and said it was her pleasure to serve. Several officers received awards and commendations.
