A real estate developer was shot dead at his home following a break-in by armed men who demanded money.Dead is fifty-three-year-old Phillip Crain, real estate investor, of Shaw Park, Ocho Rios, St. Ann, and Texas, USA.Reports from the Ocho Rios Police are that at about 4:35 p.m., on Monday, November 28, Crain was at home in Shaw Park with his family members when they were pounced upon by two gunmen who demanded money.The demands of the hoodlums were not met. The gunmen then proceeded to rob Crain of pieces of jewelry before opening gunfire hitting him. The Police were alerted and he was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.Cain had reportedly returned to Jamaica only days prior to the incident.
His family members escaped unhurt.
Investigation continues.
