ATTACKED AT HIS BIRTHDAY PARTY
A well-known St Ann businessman was shot and wounded at his birthday party in Ocho Rios, on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025.
North Coast Times erroneously reported Patrick Antony Miller also called Sparkles had died. We apologize to Mr Anthony Miller and all concerned.
The owner of Sparkles, with a store in Ocho Rios, was at a birthday party he had organized at Chrishan Lounge, Marvins Park, near White River.
Reports are that Mr Miller was hanging out with a few people near the fence at the lounge. A man is reported to have jumped the fence and opened fire at Mr Miller. He was hit and collapsed.
The gunman fled in a waiting motorcar.
Mr Miller was rushed to hospital where surgery was performed.
Reports to the North Coast Times Sunday morning were that he was in stable condition.
Police are investigating.
