BROTHER OF ST MARY’S MOST WANTED ARRESTED

HELD IN ANNOTTO BAY RAID

ANNOTTO BAY, St Mary; May 8, 2025

Police have charged the brother of St Mary’s Most Wanted with a lottery scamming-related offence.

He is Gavin Orlando Adams, the brother of St. Mary’s most wanted – Gaveen Hurd, o/c Bones. Hurd, along with six other prisoners, escaped police custody at the Oracabessa station in December 2023, eighteen months ago.

Adams, otherwise called “Hally,” of Fort Stewart, Enfield, St. Mary, was charged with Possession of Identity Information, a key offense linked to lottery scamming activities.

Police said Adams and two other people were arrested during a major multi-agency operation in Annotto Bay, St. Mary, early Wednesday morning, May 7, 2025.

The operation involved over 100 members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), including units from Specialized Operations, CTOC’s Lotto Scamming Unit, the Canine Division, St. Mary Division, and members of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF).

Commanding Officer for St. Mary, Acting Superintendent Anthony Wallace, who led the operation alongside senior divisional and specialized personnel, said these efforts form part of an ongoing thrust to target gang members, seize illegal weapons, and reassure law-abiding citizens.

Twenty-three individuals were taken into custody for questioning and processing. They were interviewed and released pending further investigation.
