The Jamaica Gasolene Retailers Association (JGRA) on Saturday, May 9 hosted a blood drive at the PetcomOcho Rios service station, St Ann. Gregory Chung, third vice president and Road Safety chair gave the North Coast Times a brief overview of the blood drive and the need for the life giving fluid for which the need rises, in the care of road traffic crash victims.A few of Ocho Rios’s community members were early to give blood without any hassle. Among the first 4 people were Odaine Martin, Janeil Barrett, Wayne Boothe and Gregory Chung. For nearly thirty years the Jamaica Gasolene Retailers Association (JGRA) has played a vital role in supporting the National Road Safety Council (NRSC) in its drive to build road safety awareness, which helps to reduce automotive related crashes, injury and fatalities.
