The family of 30-year-old Damion Bennett of St Ann are mourning his death in a traffic crash Tuesday, August 20.
Bennett, a labourer of Bellaire, Runaway Bay, died on the Pear Tree Bottom main road, only a few miles from his home.
Reports from the Discovery Bay Police are that at about 11:40 p.m., on Tuesday, August 20, Bennett was driving his Champion motorcycle along the roadway when he overtook a line of traffic and was struck by an oncoming Suzuki Ciaz motor car. Bennett sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation continues.
