MOTORCYCLE PLUNGES INTO RIVER

A motorcyclist was killed in Portland Saturday night, September 21, after his bike ran off the road and plunged into a river with him.
Dead is 27-year-old Brian Cunningham, a marine tour guide of Drapers, in the parish.
Reports are that about 10:00 pm Cunningham was driving a motorcycle along the Clear Spring main road when he encountered loose gravel and lost control of the cycle.
The motorcycle ran off the road with him and plunged into a nearby river.
He was pronounced dead at hospital.
